Founder Dr. Johnston is an original-thinking political economist.

A Tasmanian of Scottish ancestry, Dr Johnston was raised in Melbourne from age 10. She has lived on six continents (for at least a year each), spent 8 years in China, participated in government forum from China to Guyana, and been a speaker at the Pan-African Donkey Conference.

Dr Johnston holds a PhD in International Economics from Peking University, and has worked for the World Bank, World Economic Forum, the University of Melbourne and the Ministry of Planning and Development of Sierra Leone, Ministry of Finance of Guyana, among others.
